The rain soon cleared so we could go up town to short out new credit card pin numbers and take 30 mini bobble hats knitted by friend Mary to charity shop then Lidl for weekly shop. Then sandwich for lunch by which time the wind had dropped to nothing and the sun came out so we made a flask and headed to the River Orwell at Landguard Reserve with the sea like a mirror. The Linnets were out in force and turns were on the beach:) Then it was back along the prom with Mag heading home to make Jay a Birthday cake while I continued past the pier to The Fludgers where I chatted to the Smallings with their lovely Granddaughter down for an afternoon on the beach. Around to The Dip and onto The Ferry to take some pics in the boatyard before heading home for tea, Lidl reduced fishcakes, we know how to live and then we all have a piece of delicious birthday cake:)
